In 2019 Rainbow Riots launched the album ’Rainbow Riots India’, produced and composed by Petter Wallenberg in collaboration with India’s first openly LGBT singers. The project is part of the revolutionary movement behind the abolishment of the law that criminalized homosexuality in India, and has been hailed by Indian media as the ”sound of India’s rainbow revolution.” At India’s first legally recognized Pride festival in Mumbai 2019, Rainbow Riots’ founder Petter Wallenberg was invited as a speaker.
